REMUNERATION PACKAGE:Monthly tax-free salary: QR 12,000 to 15,000 depending on years of experience (US $39,452 to $49,315, annually)

Job DescriptionTeach 3rd or 5th Grade at a wonderful IB school in Qatar.

School Info:

This lovely school opened in August 2019 as an IB Candidacy school embracing the Canadian Curriculum of Ontario. In August 2020 it expanded their grades from Pre-KG to upper Elementary. The teaching staff comes primarily from native English-speaking regions. They have established a welcoming and caring environment that focuses on moving every child to his or her potential.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare annual/term/weekly plans in advance in accordance with the school's learning outcomes.

Teach all areas of the primary curriculum.

Integrate technology as instructional and teaching medium.

Effectively deliver course materials through class presentations, discussions, practical and field studies, and online, in cooperation with other members of the teaching staff.

Regularly monitor the progress of students, prepare report cards, and discuss results with students, parents, and management.

Maintain individual student's profiles that include all their work.

Take part in school events and activities that can be run at weekends or evenings.

Deliver IEPs, (one session daily), to individuals and small group of students during the school hours.

Assist with shortage of staff as directed by the Principal as needed.

Contribute to the extra-curricular life of the school.

Contribute to supervision duties to ensure the safety and appropriate deportment of students as assigned by the principal.

Effectively communicate with parents.

RequirementsBe a fully qualified and experienced teacher with a Bachelor in Education completed on campus (no long-distance education degrees)

At least 2 years of IB experience (PYP)

Valid Teacher's Certification

Copy of a valid passport

Recently issued FINGERPRINTS police clearance
