This role is working between two offices of a Chartered Surveyors. Consult Contruct is a independent multi-disciplinary firm providing a range of professional construction services. The person in this role will be tasked to cold call from a list of potential leads to sell our business services. Location: Split between our Central London and Faversham office. This is an exciting opportunity for an ethusiastic, motivated person to develop a new role within the business. This role has a great earning potential from being rewarded bonuses from meeting targets. Consult Construct work for a wide range of commercial and domestic clients, across both private and public sectors, including refurbishments, new builds and extension projects. You will work at the front end of the business in generating new business leads focussing on commercial property transaction and asset management through commercial lease occupiers. The opportunity will be working with a software that provides details of the person/s responsible for dealing with real estate management for the tenant. Working through a list you will be expected to sell our lease end advise services (dilapidations), new lease services (pre-lease building surveys, fit out management/design and landlords licence for alterations) and development monitoring. The candidate will need to have an understanding of our service offering by training on job or experience of working in a similar business. Support on understanding the software platform will be provided by software/database company and we will set the parameters on the type of business to focus on. This part of the job would be 2-3 days a week. Monthly targets would be set by the Directors. In addition (and to help understand our services) the remainder of the week will be focused on collating reports, case studies for marketing and assisting in growing the brand awareness alongside our marketing strategy. The role is a combination of marketing and admin support, so, the allocation of marketing/admin split will depend on business requirements.
- Initially tasked to learn and understand the relevant functions of the newly purchased lead generation software.
- To then use the software platform to obtain new business leads to cold call a defined target list to sell:
- Putting fee bids together
- Collating reports
- Compiling case studies for marketing use
- Assisting in growing the brand awareness alongside our pre-set marketing strategy
- Social media postings for projects.
- Opening of new project files (electronically).
- Assisting with the Tender process - after training.
- Financial data input into the Project Management System for prompt invoicing and PO creation.
- Updating the electronic in-house system with project information (Trello)
- Accurate typing, including audio typing, of various documents, using Word and Excel.
- Dealing with incoming and outgoing mail and ensure correct filing of all electronically.
- Outlook diary management (arranging appointments, inspections and highlighting deadlines)
- Office supply ordering, as necessary.
- Answer the telephone, take messages, deal with enquiries.
- Ensure all office machinery is correctly maintained and in full working order.
- Assist with organising company, staff and client events.
- Provide general admin support to the London team
- A keen interest and some knowledge in Commercial Real Estate.
- Good knowledge of lease servicing and bid writing.
- High level educated (college) - ideally degree, but not essential
- Experience of working in a similar business/having an understanding of our service offering
- Well spoken, energetic and enthusiastic individual
- Good written and verbal communicator
- May need to attend client meetings/events so well presented when required
- Organised and methodical
- Able to work with colleagues within the business to collate new client information into CRM system
- Self-motivated and there maybe occasion of lone working.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi-task with ease.
