Role Overview
As a Senior DevOps Engineer within our Cloud Management Platform (CMP) team in Saudi Arabia, you will be at the forefront of designing and managing intricate DevOps pipelines for a key client. Your expertise will contribute to the seamless integration of leading tools, ensuring the resilience and security of networking protocols and infrastructures. This role will be permanently on-site with a customer in Riyadh (KSA). Arabic language skills will be highly advantageous. This is initially a 4 month contract, with high likelihood to extend.Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage robust DevOps pipelines utilizing tools like GitLab, CircleCI, etc.
- Ensure seamless integration of DevOps tools, optimizing processes for efficiency.
- Examine technical prerequisites for Kubernetes deployments among prospective clients.
- Develop and deploy Kubernetes solutions tailored to meet customer demands.
- Lead the deployment and day-to-day functioning of Microservices solutions.
- Provide active support and management for customer environments, guaranteeing reliability and optimal performance.
- Oversee and optimize the CMP infrastructure, focusing on efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
- Collaborate across teams, providing expert insights for issue resolution and enhancing deployment strategies.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in a DevOps position
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Python development.
- Proficient in deploying and troubleshooting Kubernetes environments, showcasing extensive expertise.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud services and platforms, such as OpenStack and VMware.
- Demonstrates familiarity with various container orchestration platforms, highlighting a versatile skill set.
- Experience in Linux system administration, covering distributions like RHEL and Ubuntu.
- Strong automation skill with Terraform and Ansible.
- Experience of scripting languages Python, Powershell, Bash.
- Expertise in managing and integrating DevOps tools, including GitLab, CircleCI, and SonarQube.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities.
- Ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Proven ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
- Good networking knowledge, with a focus on deploying and managing networking and security tools, including F5 and Palo Alto.

These reports are being prepared in the departments' level under Sales & Supply Planning organization and reviewed and consolidated by Planning & Performance Management Division to ensure its completeness and relevance in order to satisfy the requirements of higher management. The Planning & Performance Management Division also reviews and process several subsidiary invoices from out-of-kingdom offices.<br /> <br /> The primary role of Sr. Planning & Performance Management is to perform all planning & performance management functions and interacts with personnel within Saudi Aramco P&PM organizations in the performance of his/her duties.<br /> <br /> <b>Responsibilities</b><br /> <br /> The successful candidate will be required to perform the following:</p> <ul> <li>Plan and execute planning and performance management analytical activities under the general supervision of higher-level P&PM Staff and supervisor of his/her organization.</li> <li>Work with different level of staffs in the collection, analysis and consolidation of data required for business plan, accountability reports, quarterly business reviews, management information system (MIS) and other adhoc reports needed by higher management.</li> <li>Conducts special studies with an aim to enhance the development of performance initiatives and business cases, benchmarking, risk management, performance measurements, processes and workflow.</li> <li>Provide supervision, coordination and/or facilitation in the execution of regular and special tasks by other P&PM personnel, as well as mentorship on P&PM analytical practice.</li> </ul> <p><br /> <b>Education & Experience Requirements</b><br /> <br /> The successful candidate must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Business (Accountancy or Finance), or a related discipline. Possession of relevant professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, CFA) is required.<br /> <br /> Nine (9) years of relevant experience in planning & performance management is required. The candidate must have the proven ability to handle complex, problems in a rigorous, analytical fashion. Previous work experience in oil & gas industry must have been sufficiently broad to allow the candidate to be effective as a team player of planning & performance management group.<br /> <br /> The candidate must have excellent command of oral and written English, with demonstrated capability of producing top quality written reports and presentations to management.
