Job Description This is a remote position. Finance Manager 8am to 5pm M-F AEST (7 AM - 4 PM PHT) About Us We are an innovative fitness company revolutionizing the industry with our cutting-edge EMS (Electrical Muscle Stimulation) training technology. Our mission is to help people achieve their fitness goals efficiently and effectively, offering 20-minute workouts that deliver results equivalent to 4 hours in a regular gym. With studios across Australia, we're committed to making fitness accessible and enjoyable for everyone. Position Summary We're seeking an Intermediate Finance Manager to join our growing team. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting the CEO in financial decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in accounting principles and be ready to grow with our dynamic company. Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and reports
  • Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis
  • Manage month-end closing processes
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable
    • Oversee AR/AP processes, ensuring timely payments and collections
    • Manage relationships with vendors and franchisees
  • Payroll
    • Review and approve bi-weekly payroll
    • Ensure compliance with payroll regulations
  • Franchise Financial Management
    • Calculate and bill franchise-related fees
    • Review franchisee financial reports for compliance
  • Provide basic financial analysis to support business decisions
  • Assist in identifying areas for cost savings and efficiency improvement
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 3-5 years of accounting experience
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desired (but not required)
  • Experience in franchising or multi-location businesses
  • Knowledge of Australian tax regulations
  • Familiarity with ERP systems
