Senior Platform Engineer

The Role: As Linktree has become a global brand, our service and infrastructure footprint has grown significantly. We are looking for experienced Platform Engineers to help us:

• maintain the shared infrastructure ecosystem used by all engineering teams at Linktree
• develop an internal platform dedicated to making our engineering teams more effective

As a member of the Developer Platform Team, you’ll be working alongside other platform engineers passionate about technology, with the opportunity to engage and support engineers across the business. To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be comfortable with cloud infrastructure, software development, and engaging directly with technical stakeholders to understand their needs. What You’ll Own:

• Develop our shared infrastructure ecosystem (edge services, CI/CD agents, cloud account management, etc.)
• Build reusable infrastructure and service patterns for our engineering teams
• Ensure the reliability of critical infrastructure underpinning Linktree
• Collaborate with engineers across Linktree to understand and resolve technical challenges slowing them down

Who We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent and 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Prior experience with designing, building, and maintaining cloud infrastructure using infrastructure as code
• Prior experience with backend or frontend software development (We use Typescript primarily but experience with any equivalent language is fine)
• Prior experience with large-scale system and infrastructure design
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and a passion for helping other teams

Preferred Experience, Not Required:

• AWS Certified (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified SysOps Administrators)
• Prior experience building platform tooling, or component libraries/systems
