Deputy Chief Financial Officer

Your new role As the EL1 Deputy Chief Financial Officer, you will manage various finance functions, including:

• Advising on procurement activities and confirming fund availability.
• Reviewing and improving processes, systems, and delegations.
• Enhancing the acquittal process for credit card and travel accounts.
• Drafting financial governance documents in line with Whole of Government (WoG) requirements.
• Contributing to Financial Statements and Budget submissions.
• Developing and delivering finance training across the organisation.
• Managing a busy inbox and responding to queries.
• Advising on budgets and accounting requirements at month and year-end.
• Performing other finance-related duties as required.

This role is available as a non-ongoing or temporary transfer, with part-time working arrangements considered. What you'll need to succeed To excel in this role, you will need:
