Store Manager | Merchant Northwest

Who are we Merchant 1948 is a New Zealand owned and operated footwear retailer who has been around since, you guessed it, 1948. We are a household name and a trusted source of premium leather footwear, for all occasions. The role Based at our Northwest store and reporting to one of our Regional Managers , you will be responsible for:

1. The overall operations and management of the store on a day-to-day basis
2. Providing strong leadership and training for your team
3. Maintaining and driving sales, keeping the team motivated
4. Managing part of the recruitment journey with the support of a Recruitment Coordinator
5. Onboarding new team members, setting them up for success
6. Ensuring a great customer journey is prioritized and delivered through all team members
7. Maintaining a positive culture in store
