Working in our newly created Procurement Intelligence and Supplier Relationship Management team, your new role as our Procurement Analyst will be to support the development and implementation of best practice procurement, ensuring NZTA Waka Kotahi has a fit for purpose approach to procurement including spend and supply chain analysis, strategies, methodologies, systems, processes and tools to drive value for money outcomes. The likely appointment range for this position is $78,030 to $95,370. To view a copy of the position description, click here. Our ideal candidate will have some or all of the following (but don't worry if you don't tick every box):
  • Demonstrated ability and/or experience at applying analytical processes, numerical and quantitative data interpretation
  • Ability to collate, calculate, analyse, compare, interpret and report on data findings
  • Well-developed communication and relationship building skills
  • Comparable and relevant experience with relevant training in analytical tools and processes is essential
  • A tertiary qualification in a related discipline may be useful but not essential
