Job Overview: As a Supply Chain/Procurement Associate , you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our organization’s asset utilization, managing procurement processes, and ensuring efficient supply chain operations. This hybrid position bridges the gap between asset management and procurement, contributing to overall organizational success. Responsibilities:
- Fixed Asset Management:Maintain a comprehensive register of fixed assets (e.g., buildings, equipment etc).
- Conduct regular physical audits to verify asset existence and condition.
- Collaborate with finance teams during audits.
- Procurement and Supplier Management. Source materials and negotiate contracts.
- Evaluate suppliers based on quality, reliability, and pricing.
- Issue purchase orders and agreements.
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues.
- Implement efficient procurement processes.
- Ensure timely availability of construction materials.
- Supply Chain Coordination. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including BA and COEs) to set efficient processes for asset management, turnaround management, capital projects, maintenance, and contracting.
- Analyze industry trends affecting material availability.
- Risk Mitigation and Cost Control.Identify potential risks (e.g., delays, shortages).
- Develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Developing Procure to Pay process
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, finance, or related field.
- Proven experience in both fixed asset management and procurement.
- Strong negotiation skills, attention to detail, and analytical abilities.
- Proficiency in supply chain software, asset management tools, and financial systems.
