Job Summary: Oversee accounting function, ensure compliance, prepare financial statements, lead tax planning, provide strategic financial advice, manage cash flow, coordinate with external auditors, implement internal controls, supervise accounting team, and collaborate with other departments.Responsibilities:General ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.Financial regulations, tax laws, and internal policies compliance.Monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, budgets, and forecasts preparation and review.Tax planning and filing process, timely and accurate submissions in line with regulatory requirements.Strategic financial advice and insights to support logistics and supply chain operations.Cash flow and funding requirements management, adequate liquidity for operational needs.External auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions coordination for audits and compliance checks.Internal controls implementation and monitoring, process improvement and risk mitigation opportunities identification.Accounting team supervision and mentorship, high standards of performance and professional growth.Business planning, cost management, and financial decision-making support through collaboration with other departments.Requirements:Chartered Accountant (CA) certification is mandatory.Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a master's degree is a plus.Minimum of 8 years of experience in accounting, with at least 5 years in a senior accounting role within the logistics or supply chain industry.Strong knowledge of tax regulations, financial reporting standards, and supply chain finance.Experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and ERP systems.Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.Excellent problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset.Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a high-performing accounting team.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Preferred Skills:Experience in a multinational logistics or group company environment.Familiarity with international tax regulations and transfer pricing.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.Knowledge of customs and duties related to supply chain operations.
