We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Manager IT Project Management (Qatarization) to join a prestigious financial institution in Doha, Qatar.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Shareholder & Financial:

Analyze possible software and application program changes to ensure alignment with the Group's long-term planning and approved strategy.

Design, implement, document, and develop applications as per the specified budget and plan.

2. Customer (Internal & External):

Liaise with business departments to meet their information requirements and follow up to address their business needs.

Build and maintain strong and effective relationships with related departments and units to achieve the Group's objectives.

3. Internal (Processes, Products, Regulatory):

Develop new applications as per user requirements and the specified plan by designated systems analysts.

Correct bugs and errors, retesting the program to ensure desired results are produced.

Conduct trial runs and testing of programs to ensure accuracy in output and functionality.

Compile and document programs, performing subsequent revisions and adding comments for understanding.

Perform revisions, repairs, or expansion of existing programs to enhance operating efficiency or meet new requirements.

Write, analyze, review, and rewrite programs using workflow charts, applying knowledge of computer capabilities, symbolic logic, and system functionality.

Contribute to user instructions or manuals.

Investigate whether networks, workstations, or central processing units are responding to program instructions.

Prepare detailed workflow charts and diagrams describing input, output, and logical operations, converting them into a series of instructions coded in a computer language.

Perform systems analysis and programming tasks to maintain and control software use.

Collaborate with computer operators or system analysts to define and resolve program-related problems.

Comply with existing standards and policies set by the Group's management.

Use object-oriented programming languages, client/server application development processes, multimedia, and Internet technology.

Ensure adherence to the Information Security Policies and Procedures and take responsibility for achieving and maintaining ISO 27001 standards.

4. Learning & Knowledge:

Fully understand user requirements as provided by systems analysts.

Possess knowledge of system design and data dictionary concepts to develop workable and comprehensive applications.

Follow the development life cycle and methodology established within the Group.

Identify areas for personal professional development and take proactive steps to enhance skills and knowledge.

5. Other Responsibilities:

Ensure high standards of confidentiality to protect commercially sensitive information.

Education/Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Minimum 2 years of experience in financial services, specializing in application programming.

Experience in Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS).

Training courses and certifications in relevant programming languages.

Required Special Skills:

Strong programming skills in development tools and languages.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Ability to identify the need for change and be adaptable and flexible in anticipating and realizing improvement opportunities.

Excellent oral and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is preferable.

Strong interpersonal skills.
