Rota International is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician with a mechanical background to join our team in Doha, Qatar. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a range of vehicles to ensure their optimal performance and safety. Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles.
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake checks, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
- Inspect and repair vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, and suspension.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
- Replace or repair parts and components as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and parts used.
- Ensure all work is performed to meet safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining necessary repairs to clients.
- Keep the workshop clean, organized, and safe.
Qualifications and Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience as an Automotive Technician or in a similar mechanical role.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair techniques.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and automotive equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information to customers.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if required.
- Certification in automotive repair (e.g., ASE or equivalent) is a plus.
