To use the content, students (and teachers) must purchase a License. Recording the orders, converting them into Licenses, and validating the existence and validity of the required License is the responsibility of the Distribution & Access system (D&T).Team CompositionSize and composition of the team:D&T - approx. 7 team members: Product Owner, Business Analyst, Developers (3x), Service Engineer, Quality Engineer.Role ResponsibilitiesThe D&T team develops and maintains the main system for Distribution & Access.As a QA Engineer, you will play a vital role in maintaining the current system and building a new platform for License and Authorization management based on an event-driven architecture consisting of multiple microservices hosted on AWS.You will pair with developers for reviewing code changes, improving the development lifecycle, setting up automated tests at all levels, CI-CD, performance testing, and releasing the application.Together with the Service Engineer, you will coordinate the yearly security test of the D&T system and participate in the yearly Dutch chain tests for the Educational Content Chain, collaborating with external testers from logistic partners.Must-Have RequirementsSenior level knowledge of testing and the test automation pyramidProven experience in setting up and maintaining test automation projectsKnowledge of test frameworks such as Fitnesse/Xebium, Selenium, Protractor, Cucumber, Karma, JunitProven knowledge in API testingKnowledge of SQL and databases (Postgres, MySQL)Programming skills & the ability to read and review codePreferably: Java & TypescriptExperience with cloud-based infrastructure (preferably AWS)Experience with Docker and preferably KubernetesAbility to work well in an Agile environmentExcellent team playerVery good problem-solving and analytical skillsGood communicator among team membersNice-to-Have RequirementsKnowledge of Spring Boot and AngularKnowledge of the Atlassian stack (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket)Experience with Datadog or other observability toolsExperience in performance testingExperience in security testingIf you are interested in this freelance role, please send us your up-to-date CV (word format) + short motivation based on the job description + indication of rate via the button below or call us for more information at 06 - 34657362.
