We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Estimator to join our Events/Exhibition company. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in handling events/exhibition projects across UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait. They will be responsible for the preparation and coordination of tender documentation, pre-contract activities, BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, and more. Attention to detail and a thorough understanding of various finishes, interior elements, mezzanine structures are essential for this role Project Evaluation: Analyze project requirements, specifications, drawings, and related documents to identify scope of work and develop precise cost estimates. Cost Estimation: Perform detailed cost analysis for materials, labor, equipment, subcontractors, overheads, and other expenses to ensure comprehensive project pricing, aligning with client budgets and project requirements. Tender Documentation: Prepare, coordinate, and manage tender documentation and submissions, including bills of quantities (BOQ), technical specifications, and contract terms, in line with project requirements. Attention to Detail: Ensure all estimates and proposals are thoroughly reviewed for accuracy and completeness. Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather accurate pricing information and ensure competitive bids. Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and discrepancies, providing solutions to mitigate issues before project initiation. Knowledge of MEP Rates: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) rates and standards. Interior Elements & Finishes: Demonstrate expertise in various interior elements, including partitioning, ceilings, flooring, and bespoke joinery. Ensure all finishes are accurately represented in estimates, considering quality, durability, and client preferences. Continuous Improvement: Stay informed of industry trends, market prices, and construction methods to improve estimation accuracy and efficiency. Client Interaction: Attend client meetings and presentations to discuss project details, cost breakdowns, and clarify proposals. Professional Traits: Discretion and diplomacy in all professional interactions. Task Commitment: Reliable and committed to completing tasks with high accuracy. Resilience: Persistent, positive, and self-reliant. Accountability: Takes personal responsibility to drive outcomes. Relationship Building: Capable of building and maintaining strong working relationships with colleagues across different regionsQualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or a related field. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in estimation within the Events/Exhibition industry. Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and market rates. Excellent analytical and mathematical skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Knowledge in Microsoft Business Central and estimation software will be an added advantage.
