As a Junior Architect at The Blue Khirki, you will be integral to the creation of innovative and sustainable design solutions. You will assist in developing design concepts, creating detailed construction drawings, and updating design sets, with a key focus on 3D design and rendering. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities: Architectural Design: 1. Developing creative and functional design concepts for residential, commercial, and institutional projects. 2. Preparing schematic designs, development drawings, and presentation materials. 3. Participating in design charettes and brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas. Construction Drawings: 1. Producing detailed construction drawings, including plans, sections, elevations, and details for permits and construction. 2. Ensuring accuracy and compliance with building codes and standards. 3D Design and Rendering: 1. Creating 3D models and renderings to visualize and present design concepts effectively. 2. Utilizing and rendering software like Lumion, Enscape, or similar to produce high-quality visualizations. 3. Integrating 3D designs into presentation materials for client reviews and approvals. Updating Design and Drawing Sets: 1. Maintaining and updating existing designs and drawing sets as needed. 2. Incorporating revisions based on client feedback, site conditions, and regulatory requirements. Other Requirements: 1. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit (preferred). 2. Experience with Adobe Photoshop, SketchUp, and rendering software (e.g., Lumion, Enscape). 3. Strong skills in 3D design and visualization. 4. Attention to detail and accuracy in drawings and design work. 5. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients. 6. Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative. Qualifications: 1. A relevant degree in architecture or a related field. 2. Practical experience or internship in architectural design.
