Role Description We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our team, focusing on Attendee Acquisition & Onboarding for B2B conferences. This role is crucial in driving attendance and revenue for our high-profile industry events. Office: Koregaon Park, Pune ; Job: Onsite (No Remote Work) Key Responsibilities
- Research & Targeting: Conduct in-depth research on target companies and decision-makers to identify ideal prospects for B2B conferences.
- Outreach & Engagement: Identify and engage potential delegates through personalized outreach, ensuring alignment with their business needs and interests.
- Lead Development: Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified sales prospects, with a goal of making cold calls daily
- Sales Promotion: Execute outbound calls to promote conference attendance, showcasing the event's value and relevance to each prospect.
- Deal Closure: Negotiate and close sales deals, consistently working to meet or exceed individual and team targets.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to integrate sales strategies with promotional activities, enhancing overall attendee acquisition efforts.
- CRM & Documentation: Maintain meticulous records of all sales activities within the CRM system to ensure data accuracy and track progress.
- Performance Reporting: Deliver regular, insightful reports on sales performance, conversion rates, and market trends to support continuous improvement.
- 0-6 months of experience (internships are considered)
- Strong interest in B2B sales, event selling, and business development
- Enthusiastic about making calls and building relationships with CXOs, understanding the value of a personalized approach in sales
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skill
- Self-motivated with a desire to learn and grow in a dynamic sales environment
- 1-2 years of proven experience in B2B sales, with specific experience in events or hospitality being a strong asset
- Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, bringing insights into industry-specific client needs
- Proficient at negotiating and closing deals, with the ability to communicate the unique value of event
- Excellent communication and excited to connect with CXO's via cold calling and engage them in meaningful conversations
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
