Check out our latest product, the next-generation bag - Job Description: As an Operations Executive at our factory, you will play a pivotal role in refining production and supply chain operations to maximize efficiency and reduce costs. You will focus on minimizing material expenses through effective supplier negotiations and nurturing strong vendor relationships. This role involves leading rapid R&D prototyping efforts to expedite lead times for new component designs, enhancing our flexibility and responsiveness. You will also oversee the implementation of ERP (Odoo) and project management (Jira) systems to elevate visibility and streamline workflows. Through in-depth cost sensitivity analyses, you will help minimize design costs and achieve overall operational savings. Using Lean Six Sigma practices, you will drive efficiency improvements, reduce waste, and align production with demand. In logistics, you will employ Just-in-Time (JIT) strategies to boost on-time deliveries while reducing inventory carrying costs. With your expertise in inventory management, you will ensure product availability while minimizing stockouts and excess inventory. This position is ideal for a proactive, results-driven professional with expertise in process optimization, supplier negotiations, and Lean manufacturing. Key Responsibilities:
- Negotiate with suppliers to optimize material costs and maintain strong, mutually beneficial vendor relationships.
- Lead rapid R&D prototyping to reduce lead times for new component designs, improving agility and speed to market.
- Implement ERP (Odoo) and project management (Jira) systems to increase process visibility and enhance workflow efficiency.
- Conduct cost sensitivity analyses to identify areas for cost reduction in design and operations.
- Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies to improve operational efficiency, reduce waste, and better align production with demand.
- Develop and execute Just-in-Time (JIT) logistics strategies to improve on-time delivery rates and reduce inventory holding costs.
- Oversee inventory management to ensure stock availability, minimize excess inventory, and prevent stockouts.
- Monitor and optimize storage and resource allocation to ensure efficient use of factory space and materials.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and achieve operational excellence.
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 1-5 years of experience in operations role.
