Requirements:Education:LLB or equivalent from an HEC-recognized university. A higher qualification, such as an LLM in corporate or financial law, is preferred.Experience:Minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate law, with a focus on non-banking financial services or related sectors.Knowledge:In-depth knowledge of SBP, SECP, and FBR regulations applicable to non-banking financial companies (NBFCs) in Pakistan. Must also possess a thorough understanding of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter Financing of Terrorism (CFT) laws, as well as the Companies Act 2017.Job Description:The Corporate Lawyer will provide legal support and guidance to the NBFC, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This role involves drafting and reviewing contracts, managing legal risks, and advising on corporate governance matters.Key Responsibilities:Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and corporate policies.Ensure compliance with regulations set forth by the SECP, FBR, SBP, and other regulatory bodies.Provide legal advice on corporate governance, risk management, and regulatory matters.Represent the company in legal proceedings and negotiations as needed.Conduct legal research and keep abreast of changes in laws affecting the financial services sector.Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a keen eye for detail.License:Must be licensed to practice law in Pakistan, with registration in good standing with both the Pakistan Bar Council (PBC) and Islamabad Bar Council (IBC).Salary:200K PKR to 300K PKRWorking Days:Mon-FriApplication:Eligible candidates can apply by sharing their resumes onzakir.ali@hrsgonline.comby mentioning the position in the subject line & City.
