Overview Hire Resolve, a leading recruitment firm, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Coordinator to join our client's team in Cape Town. As a Maintenance Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and overseeing the maintenance activities within the organisation. Responsibilities: Coordinate maintenance requirements, ensuring Infrastructure maintenance tasks are carried out successfully within agreed timeframes, cost, quality parameters and scope. Coordinate and track all on site maintenance and related activities to ensure optimal levels of plant and equipment availability Ensure all equipment and safety standards are maintained Manage ad hoc maintenance requests, ensuring issues are adressed within agreed SLA's Effectively manage relationships with contractors and suppliers Provide expert advice and help effeciently resolve maintenance queries Ensure Adherence to all applicable Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Standards Actively participate in operational planning and reporting processes Drive continuous improvement through streamlining and optimising relevant operational practices, processes and tools Adhere to operational and financial frameworks of practices, processes, standards and controls Control cost and take the necessary action to mitigate any financial risks or non-compliance Adherence to Standards: Ensure strict adherence to Quality, Food, Health, Safety and Enforcement: Enforce all food safety and health regulations, policies, and requirements at all times to guarantee a secure work environment. Personal Hygiene: Maintain exceptional personal hygiene as per the organization's code of conduct. Contamination Control: Raise awareness about potential physical product contamination and implement control measures to prevent it. Health and Safety Measures: Take reasonable precautions to prevent health and safety hazards Follow the prescribed incident reporting procedure in case of accidents. Knowledge and Compliance: Stay updated with relevant business information, policies, processes, and procedures. Enforce compliance with legislative and statutory requirements, as well as GMP's Training: Attend and enforce the implementation of learnings from training sessions related to Quality, Food Safety, and Health and Safety. Housekeeping: Maintain high levels of cleanliness and orderliness within the work environment. Requirements Bachelors Degree (3 years) / NQF level 7 (Essential) Upto 4 years experience (Operational Execution) MS Excel; MS Word; SAP; E Mail; MS PowerPoint Prior experience in a maintenance coordination role Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of maintenance principles and techniques Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking Ability to work independently and as part of a team Contact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.
