ENVIRONMENT: A fast-paced Engineering Service Provider in Durbanville is seeking 3 Mid-Senior Level FEA (Finite Element Analyst) Engineers to join its team. The role will entail utilising CAE tools, verifying new designs and solving failure mechanisms while conducting analysis on multiple products. Senior level FEA Engineers must possess a Degree in Engineering with 7+ years' experience while Mid-level must possess an Engineering Degree or equivalent tertiary qualification and have 3-5+ years' experience. If you are a Masters Graduate with FEA experience from your Degree you can also apply. You will also need experience with 3D CAD, Advanced Excel and exceptional Math ability and task management. DUTIES: Utilise CAE tools: Verify new designs / products & Problem solve failure mechanisms on failed existing components / products. Conduct analysis on a multitude of products for multiple clients. Interpret results and make recommendations. Simplify CAD models for analysis. Construct Finite Element Models. Interpret required physics and apply to the simulation. Execute linear, non-linear, modal and fatigue type analyses. Assess results for comparison against customer requirements and design standards. Liaise with other engineering disciplines and teams. Compile feedback presentations and technical reports. Participate in design reviews. Provide proactive feedback about designs, based on outcomes of analysis. Summarise and conclude investigations. Provide design recommendations. REQUIREMENTS: There are THREE ROLES - Senior Level : Must possess an Engineering Degree and 7-10 years' experience. Mid-Level: Must have an Engineering Degree and 3-5 years' experience. Junior Level: Must have a Masters Degree in Engineering and FEA experience within the Degree. 3D CAD experience. Excellent in task management and Mathematics. Computer literacy with Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Advantageous - Experience with Structural FEM. ATTRIBUTES: Attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure. Good written and verbal communication (English).
