Overview A leading multi-disciplinary professional engineering consultancy is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Gqeberha or East London. Responsibilities Assessment and reporting on existing buildings Preparation of tender documents (inclusive of drawings and bills of quantities) Preparation of reports (Project Inception, Concept and Viability, Design, tender evaluation, progress, financial, close-out, Day-to day contract administration and management of mechanical engineering projects Handling of technical queries and resolutions and leading Site and Technical Meetings on site, including the taking of minutes Communicate frequently with all professionals and clients Handling of technical queries and dispute resolutions in conjunction with others Assist with project safety and environmental matters during construction General office and project related admin Assist with the company when tendering for new work Requirements At least a bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering Registration with ECSA as a Professional Engineer or Professional Technologist At least 6 years' post-graduate experience in the planning, design and construction of Mechanical engineering and building projects from inception to completion Experience in HVAC, Wet Services, Fire Engineering, Lifts, Pump Stations Proficient in the use of AutoCAD and Revit Experience in the use of Building Information Modelling (BIM) software, in particular ACC will be advantageous.
