The Role Cardinal Contractors are expanding their workforce and are looking for Heavy Duty Fitters / Mechanics on a 5:2 roster with Saturday's as required , day shift only , based in Collie. A valid and clean National Police Clearance must be provided with application, and before any interviews are confirmed. Job tasks and responsibilities The skills, experience and knowledge required for this role includes:

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience post completion of HD Fitter Apprenticeship
• Previous experience in a similar role is essential
• HD Trade Certificate / Certificate of Completion / Certificate of Proficiency
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Knowledge and practical application of Workplace OH&S
• Must have Current Police Clearance (obtained within the last 12 months)
• White card
• HR drivers license or above
• Must provide own tools

In addition, it would be advantageous to have experience in:

• Overhead cranes / heavy duty machinery
• Electronics and air conditioning
• Komatsu and Hitachi Machinery
• Mack and Kenworth Triple Road Trains
