Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Manager to join our team. The QA Manager will be responsible for leading our quality assurance efforts to ensure that all products and services meet our high standards of excellence. This role involves managing a team of QA engineers, developing and implementing testing strategies, and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver superior results. Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers.
- Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the QA team.
- Develop and maintain QA processes and standards.
- Testing & Quality Assurance:
- Design and implement comprehensive testing strategies for various projects.
- Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met.
- Ensure that all products are tested thoroughly and meet the company's quality standards before release.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Communicate QA findings and recommend solutions to stakeholders.
- Work closely with the development team to ensure seamless integration and deployment of products.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify, document, and track issues and bugs through to resolution.
- Continuously improve the QA process by implementing best practices and leveraging new tools and technologies.
- Stay current with the latest trends and advancements in QA methodologies and tools.
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a management role.
- Proven experience in leading and managing a QA team in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with both manual and automated testing.
- Proficiency in using QA tools such as Selenium, JIRA, and TestRail.
- Familiarity with various types of testing including functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality.
