Academic Counselor

If you have excellent interpersonal and counseling skills, a genuine desire to make a positive impact on student's lives, and the ability to work in a collaborative and dynamic environment, we want to hear from you.Key Responsibilities:Provide academic counseling to students, helping them set and achieve their educational and career goals.Assess students' needs, academic progress, and challenges, and develop personalized academic plans.Assist students in course selection, academic program planning, and degree requirements.Address students' concerns, including academic, personal, or social issues, and provide appropriate guidance and support.Promote academic success strategies, study skills, and time management to enhance students' learning outcomes.Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure a supportive and inclusive learning environment.Maintain accurate and confidential student records and documentation.Participate in academic advising and counseling meetings and workshops.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.Proven experience in academic counseling, student advising, or a similar role.Excellent communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills.Empathy and the ability to build trust and rapport with students.Knowledge of educational programs and degree requirements.Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.Proficiency in computer applications and academic advising software.Familiarity with the education system in Abu Dhabi is a plus.
