Builderwest, a reputable provider of insurance-related repairs and strata related repairs, is seeking a highly skilled and organised Construction Estimator/Supervisor to join our team. If you possess expertise in storm and roof reports, damaged properties, scopes, quotes, and repairs, we want to hear from you. Builderwest is a commercial insurance/strata repairs company specialising in the strata and major loss Commercial sectors across Western Australia. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional customer satisfaction and outstanding workmanship on all repairs we manage. Due to expansion within the major and complex loss claims portfolio, we are seeking an experienced Building Supervisor to service south of the river and join our dynamic team. The Role:
- Provide quality construction standards and the use of appropriate construction techniques.
- Manage major and complex loss construction projects from commencement to finalization.
- Conduct end-to-end repair standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
- Prioritise workloads and work efficiently to adhere to tight deadlines.
- Analyse the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs to ensure an acceptable profitable margin.
- Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
- Handle terms of agreements, draft contracts, and obtain permits and licenses.
- Plan to avoid problems and work within a timely manner to comply with expected outcomes for our clients.
- Deliver outstanding customer service; we are very customer service driven at Builderwest.
- Develop and maintain client relationships within the major complex loss industry, delivering high standards of communication and service.
- Assess, manage, and alleviate risks ensuring all WHS requirements are met.
- Contribute to and comply with all statutory legislation including relevant Health and Safety policies and procedures applicable to Builderwest.
- Regional and remote work as required.
- $95,000 - $110,000 + super (dependent on qualifications and years' experience)

- A full and valid driving licence.
- Police clearance.
- First Aid and CPR (current).
- Working at Heights valid certificate.
- Proven experience in facilitating major and complex loss events within the Insurance Building Industry - Highly desired.
- Experience of working with a multi-skilled trades team (within occupied/vacant properties) is desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to diagnose and prioritise specific work activities and tasks.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team, sharing knowledge and experience to gain the best results for the company.
- Ability to demonstrate a flexible, caring, and professional approach to customer care within a wide range of work situations.
- Can-do attitude towards work.
- Able to produce consistently high-quality workmanship.
- Proficient in MS Project/Excel and other Construction Scheduling Software Platforms including Prime Ecosystem.
- Honest and trustworthy.
- Knowledge and understanding of construction-related OH&S legislation.
- Understanding of value for money and target KPIs.
- Ability to work outside normal working hours as required.
