Are you an experienced senior Refrigeration & Air-conditioning Engineer looking for an exciting role with room for growth? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! Our client, a proudly NZ family-owned leading commercial refrigeration and air conditioning company, based in Grey Lynn, Auckland, are seeking a seasoned professional with a current NZ EWRB EST license to join their dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual who can hit the ground running and isn't afraid to tackle a variety of projects. About the role: Reporting to the Service Manager, as a senior Refrigeration & Air-conditioning Engineer, you'll manage a volume of projects across various sites, performing servicing and installation on a range of commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems. You'll build and maintain strong relationships with customers both on and off-site, working closely with your team to achieve project goals while adhering to health & safety policies. Additionally, you'll ensure clear and timely documentation supporting smooth project execution and collaboration with other tradespeople. What we are ideally seeking:- Minimum 5-10 years proven refrigeration and air conditioning service experience
- Current NZ EWRB electrical EST license
- NZ trade qualification in refrigeration/air conditioning preferred
- Positive attitude with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Excellent customer and stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues in a clear and understandable manner
- High level of integrity and commitment to high standards of work
- Strong health & safety mindset, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and standards
- Full NZ clean driver’s license
