The role of CFO is responsible for providing strategic, financial leadership and oversight of the financial functions within Clúid, ensuring that financial activity supports the organisation's objectives. The CFO will act as a strategic partner within Clúid, enabling the Corporate Plan while driving financial competence, confident decision making and continuous improvement. They will also have responsibility for the Chief Finance Office teams, which comprise Finance Operations, Corporate Finance & Treasury, Procurement, Risk & Assurance.Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and leading a team of four, the role requires a collaborative approach, with the ability to foster an inclusive workplace, develop teams and build and maintain relationships with Audit and Risk Committee and Board members.Minimum RequirementsThe successful candidate must be able to demonstrate evidence of:Evidence of a degree in a related discipline and/or relevant professional qualificationsEvidence of an accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA)Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated relevant experience in a senior finance roleProven experience in developing Finance Policy and Strategy, with experience of financial control and budget management, as well as corporate financeExperience of advising and presenting at Senior Executive and Board levelsDemonstrated understanding of process improvement and change managementExperience in performance management and business partneringProven experience of Value for Money ReportingThe successful candidate should also be able to demonstrate evidence of:Experience in property or housing sectorsExcellent communication and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to identify solutionsAbility to prioritise and manage workloads and to cope with conflicting demands.Application and Further InformationFor further information and to apply for this role visit www.forvismazars.com/ie/en/executiverecruitment.All enquiries relating to this role should be directed to the Executive Recruitment Team by email to execrecruit@mazars.ie or by telephone on +353 (1) 449 4400.Forvis Mazars will be managing all aspects of this recruitment project on behalf of Clúid Housing.
