Job details

Seeking a skilled Project Engineer to design and coordinate road and cycle track projects. Responsibilities include producing and modifying detailed road network and utility drawings, ensuring design standards, and working closely with clients, project managers, and design teams. Role involves preparing reports, BOQs, and tender documents, coordinating meetings, and adhering to Bahrain Road Design Manual guidelines. Ideal for engineers with a focus on road networks and cross-section layouts. Responsibilities:

  • Produce and modify detailed drawings for road and cycle track projects, including layouts, cross-sections, and utility corridors.
  • Coordinate designs with project managers, clients, and other engineers.
  • Ensure compliance with design standards and client specifications.
  • Prepare BOQ, tender documents, and design-related reports as needed.
  • Manage meetings, including preparing minutes, and oversee documentation.
  • Adhere to Bahrain Road Design Manual guidelines for road projects.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Experience in road and infrastructure design; familiarity with roads and cycle tracks preferred.
  • Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of design standards and regulations.
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills.
  • Ability to produce and modify complex drawings and documentation.
  • Experience in BOQ preparation, tender documentation, and report writing.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with a focus on meeting deadlines and client requirements.
