Vice President of Investment (PM/FM, Fixed Income)Join a leading financial institution in Doha, Qatar, dedicated to providing innovative investment solutions. We seek a dynamic Vice President of Investment to lead clients' fixed income investment strategies and operations.Key Responsibilities:Strategy Development: Create and execute fixed income investment strategies aligned with organizational goals and market dynamics.Portfolio Oversight: Provide strategic direction for fixed income portfolios, focusing on interest rate risk management, credit analysis, and asset allocation.Performance Monitoring: Regularly assess portfolio performance, making necessary adjustments to meet investment objectives.Fund Management: Lead the development and oversight of fixed income funds to ensure they meet performance benchmarks and regulatory standards.Client Relations: Build and maintain relationships with institutional investors, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of investment professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of fixed income markets, including interest rate forecasts, credit risk assessments, and economic indicators.Investment Decisions: Make informed investment decisions based on comprehensive research and quantitative analysis.Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate reporting of portfolio and fund performance to senior management and stakeholders.Compliance: Maintain adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies while overseeing audit processes as required.Industry Representation: Represent the organization at industry conferences, client meetings, and other relevant events to showcase our fixed income investment capabilities.Education and Experience Requirements:Experience: 10-15 years in fixed income investment management, with a strong emphasis on portfolio and fund management.Track Record: Proven success in managing substantial fixed income portfolios and achieving performance targets.Market Knowledge: In-depth understanding of fixed income markets, investment strategies, and regulatory requirements.Leadership Skills: Strong management capabilities with a history of driving team performance and collaboration.Analytical Skills: Advanced analytical and quantitative skills, with expertise in fixed income modeling, risk management, and valuation techniques.Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of conveying complex information to diverse stakeholders.Certification: CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst, Level 3) required.Global Experience: Experience managing fixed income portfolios or funds outside the MENA region is a plus.
