Frontend Developer - CTV

Title: Frontend Developer( CTV) Type: Permanent Region: India Location: Remote About the Role: This role is for an experienced Frontend Developer to join our existing team, with the intention of growing your career with us long term. We are looking for people with excellent experience in React.JS and exposure to smart TVs and Chromecast platforms. This role will suit an independent, collaborative, and experienced person with a background in the Video/OTT industry , and a natural eye for excellent web and mobile UI/UX . Responsibilities:

• Lead the creation of new advanced Front-End features and UI for our main Audio/Video content platform and apps
• Improve solutions for better performance, flexibility, and growth
• Improve user experience while keeping compatibility with current platforms
• Work on Integration and development with backend services and API's

Requirements:

• 3+ years OOP JavaScript development and related web technologies
• Experience using React, ES2016, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks
• Experience optimizing web applications for performance from the UI to the network
• Experience working with tools like Webpack, Gulp, or Grunt
• Experience using CSS3,HTML5 Sass, or Less
• Experience working with at least one Smart TV platform (WebOS, Tizen, Vidaa)
• Experience working with at least one non-desktop platform (e.g., Chromecast, PlayStation)
• Experience with CI/CD processes
• Experience following Agile practices like Scrum or Kanban
• Experience designing and building solutions for high-traffic, dynamic sites to reduce latency

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with Node.js and/or PHP
• Experience in the video or broadcast media industry
• Experience with ad tech and/or Big Data telemetry solutions
• Ability to solve abstract problems with concrete solutions
• Ability to identify and create common components
• Passion for frontend technologies
• Desire to impact a growing product
• Excited about video streaming and a movie/TV enthusiast
