The European research and education network GÉANT has initiated a search for a new CEO to lead it into the next phase of its strategic evolution. The position is based in Amsterdam, Netherlands.This is a key role that must advance GÉANT's mission, collaborate and engage with the research networking community in Europe, interface with European Union institutions, and seek new funding opportunities. The CEO is the principal representative of GÉANT and manages the organisation's international relations and governance in collaboration with the Board and General Assembly.The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations and guide the organisation's long-term strategic direction, promoting an inclusive work environment capable of meeting the diverse needs of the community. Essential qualifications include knowledge of the research and education sector, including political dynamics and funding programmes.The selection process is open until 9 am on May 27.
