Intuit Mailchimp is significantly investing in growing our presence here in ANZ. This is an exciting time to join the team as a founding member of the Mailchimp ANZ leadership team. As Head of Sales you will play an integral role in helping shape our strategy across the region, focused on exceeding our new business growth targets. You’ll be a key contributor to our overall go to market strategy, building out the sales function and team over time. The successful candidate will have a proven track record leading a high performing sales team, be highly energetic and a focused change leader and builder. The candidate will be metric driven, passionate about sales and be hands on with customers while leading and motivating a team. Responsibilities

  • Lead, grow, motivate and manage a high performing team.
  • In partnership with the global Mailchimp sales organization, develop an ANZ customer acquisition strategy to bring in mid-market businesses to Mailchimp as well as accelerate customer growth overall.
  • As a member of the ANZ leadership team, play a key role in defining and executing the strategy to deliver exceptional customer benefit and world-class business results for the region.
  • Hire and build a high-performing sales team across ANZ, including setting sales targets and quotas, developing compensation plans, and establishing processes and procedures to ensure consistent execution.
  • Deliver monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets for ANZ.
  • Provide continuous support, sales coaching and training that builds skill of all employees.
  • Collaborate across Intuit to share and learn best practices to continue to drive growth and to implement process improvement.
  • Quickly test new ideas, using our Innovation practices, combining data and insight to learn and innovate rapidly.
  • Lead organization through change as required and help the team respond to change.
  • Help remove barriers, acting as an escalation point when needed to help solve or triage.
  • Own the plan for the team’s success and contribute to the organization’s Vision.

Minimum Requirements
  • 7-10+ years of sales management or leadership roles, managing medium size teams of sales executives.
  • 10+ years of SaaS sales experience with eCommerce and/or MarTech focus.
  • Strong track record in delivering industry-leading sales results.
  • Demonstrable capabilities in building and scaling foundational sales teams.
  • Builder’s mindset and operational focus coupled with leadership and craft development background.
  • Experienced people manager who has built high-performing teams and demonstrated ability to implement execution strategies to effectively manage, coach, & balance both team/individual goals.
  • Strong analytical, planning and problem-solving skills with depth understanding of sales levers, metrics, performance standards and sales methodology.
  • An unwavering positive attitude, strong drive for results, and the ability to deal with ambiguity.
