About the role Our growing Enterprise Architecture team is looking for a Senior Data Architect! What You'll Do Here: Produce solution architecture and data architecture deliverables aligned with corporate vision, objectives, security standards, and data governance standards. Design and oversee the architecture of enterprise-level AI and machine learning systems. Demonstrate a strong understanding of AI and ML lifecycle management. Create, update, and maintain solution and data architecture models, roadmaps, and strategies. Advocate and promote architecture vision and value proposition within the IT and business community. Analyze the current solution portfolio to detect deficiencies and recommend improvements. Lead and facilitate research and assessment of emerging trends and advancements in technologies including machine learning frameworks and platforms. Develop and evolve solution and data architecture principles, standards, and patterns to support decision-making. Consult and align with Infrastructure, Security, and Data Governance teams. Demonstrate ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into business processes. Act as an architectural advisor in areas of data management. Refine, document, manage, and disseminate conceptual and logical data models. Collaborate with technical teams to determine the best way to represent data and its relationships. Maintain metadata describing data models, including structure and semantics. Recommend and establish data-related standards, procedures, models, and solutions for information management. Create models and maintain a repository reflecting data flow throughout the organization. Lead risk and cost analysis, including build vs. buy recommendations. What You Bring to the Table: University Degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience. 10+ years in information technology. Proven experience in API design and integration techniques. Expertise in data modeling and data management. Strong leadership and team collaboration skills. Understanding of or willingness to learn about the insurance industry. Transparent and effective communication with various teams (business, telecom, infrastructure, security, audit, software engineering). Proactive, organized, and a catalyst for change. Ability to manage stakeholders and competing priorities. Strong technical background (platforms, languages, protocols, frameworks, open source, etc.). Knowledge of security best practices and their impact. Adaptability to a constantly evolving technological environment. Excellent communication skills with all levels of the organization.
