About the role We are looking to hire a Senior Automation QA Engineer to join the leading provider of digital health solutions within the health tech business. We are looking for people that can support digitalization to better meet the needs of healthcare professionals, regulators, and patients. The product is a clinical trial solution, designed to simplify the experience for all involved participants, and help digitalize clinical trials. In this role, you will be contributing to developing automated test strategies and test frameworks, as well as creating and configuring test frameworks and executing automated tests. Responsibilities

• Create automated tests to enhance the existing test suite using Selenium
• Convert existing manual test scripts/cases to executable automated tests
• Support and maintain the product test automation framework with respect to implementation of new features, existing features, or bug fixes
• Plan and execute automation tests on a continual basis
• Proactively identify improvements and enhancements
• Continual improvement of the Automation framework
• Communicate effectively across multiple teams to ensure cohesion and collaboration
• Provide leadership and mentoring for team members regarding test automation

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working as a Senior Test Automation Engineer
• Strong hands-on automation skills drawn from experience of automating using varying technologies and tools
• Strong understanding of various testing automation principles, concepts, approaches, and methods
• Ability to code in Java and an understanding of Object-Oriented design principles
• Understanding & use of Automated agile/non-agile testing methods such as Cucumber BDD & Selenium etc.
• Be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent spoken and written English language skills
• Self-starter, highly motivated, and loves embracing challenges

A significant advantage would be

• Working knowledge and experience of Cypress Test Automation Framework
• Appium test automation framework Experience for testing mobile apps using Selenium WebDriver protocol
• API testing experience
• BrowserStack working knowledge and experience
• Experience working in a globally distributed team
• Practical experience of Unix/Linux
• Experience in participating and contributing towards PI and Sprint planning
• Understanding of Web Services, Azure, and/or Amazon AWS
• CI/CD, Github Actions
