About the Role: As our Head of Customer Analytics and Personalisation, you will occupy a critical strategic position at the heart of our efforts to leverage data for unparalleled customer engagement and commercial success. This role demands a unique blend of deep technical expertise in data management and analytics, along with a forward-thinking approach to personalization at scale. Other key aspects of the role:
- Strategic Leadership: Defining and executing a comprehensive data and personalization strategy that aligns with our company's long-term vision and commercial objectives.
- Insightful Reporting: Overseeing the development of reporting frameworks that provide actionable insights, empowering data-driven decision-making across the organization.
- Cutting-Edge Development: Leading a team of data scientists in creating advanced algorithms and models to support personalized customer experiences at scale.
- Sophisticated Analytics: Implementing state-of-the-art analytics and data science techniques to deliver personalized experiences across all customer touchpoints, enhancing engagement, satisfaction, and loyalty.
- Data Governance: Establishing and maintaining robust data governance practices, ensuring the integrity, security, and compliance of our data assets.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Working closely with marketing, IT, and product development teams to integrate data-driven strategies seamlessly across the company.
- Innovation Advocacy: Analysing emerging data technologies and trends, advocating for the adoption of innovations that can provide a competitive edge.
- A master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in data analytics, data science, or a similar role, with a proven track record of leading data-driven projects to successful commercial outcomes.
- Establish and spearhead the efforts across five pivotal domains: Reporting, Insights, Data Science, Personalization at Scale, and Data Governance. This role is tailor-made for a leader who is not just adept at navigating the complexities of data but is also customer obsessed.
- Deep technical expertise in data management, analytics platforms, and personalization technologies.
- Strong leadership skills, with experience in building, mentoring, and leading teams of data professionals.
- Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with a knack for translating complex data insights into actionable business strategies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
