About the Role: The Chief Financial and Operating Officer (CFOO) at ArchiPro is a pivotal role combining both financial and operational leadership to drive growth, operational excellence, and global expansion. This is a key leadership role responsible for financial strategy, capital management, operational efficiencies, and guiding ArchiPro through its next stage of scale-up, particularly into international markets. This role demands a visionary leader with experience in scaling businesses globally, particularly in tech-driven environments like marketplaces, advertising and SaaS. This is a pivotal role that will act as a co-pilot to the founder and work across all departments, shaping ArchiPro’s strategic direction and driving cross-functional alignment. As the most senior role in the company, the CFOO will lead not only financial and operational strategies but will also, directly and indirectly, influence all departments to position ArchiPro for scale, transformation, and long-term sustainability. As ArchiPro’s first chief-level hire, you will be instrumental in architecting the internal structures, financial strategies, and operational processes that will lay the groundwork for sustainable, scalable growth. This is a unique opportunity to drive company-wide transformation and leave an indelible mark on ArchiPro’s future. We seek a seasoned leader, ideally with prior CFO or COO experience, who is not only familiar with scaling businesses but has also been instrumental in aligning cross-functional teams, overseeing operational efficiency, and fostering a growth-oriented culture. This role demands a leader capable of unifying diverse teams—marketing, sales, product, and client success—under a single operational vision. The CFOO will ensure every department is aligned toward a singular goal: scaling ArchiPro globally while maintaining operational excellence and financial health. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Financial Leadership:
  • Develop and Execute Financial Strategy: Lead comprehensive financial strategies to support ArchiPro's ambitious growth objectives, including budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and capital allocation to optimise growth and profitability.
  • Architect Growth Strategy: Partner closely with the CEO to define and execute ArchiPro’s long-term strategy, driving business transformation and establishing systems for sustainable growth across multiple regions.
  • Drive Company-Wide Transformation: As a chief-level hire, implement scalable processes and structures that support long-term growth, shaping ArchiPro’s future as a global leader.
  • Capital Management and Fundraising: Drive capital raising efforts, including Series B+ funding rounds and beyond, and optimise the capital structure for global expansion. ESOP planning and management.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Oversee the preparation and management of budgets, financial forecasts, and long-term plans. Monitor cash flow, revenue generation, and financial performance. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements globally and implement internal controls to safeguard financial integrity.
  • Risk Management: Implement comprehensive risk management frameworks to mitigate financial risks, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintain financial integrity.
  • Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A): Identify and pursue strategic M&A opportunities to accelerate growth and enhance market position.
Operational Leadership:
  • Operational Efficiency: Streamline day-to-day operations, optimising workflows to improve efficiency and scalability. Implement best practices and scalable systems to support the company’s growth while maintaining high operational standards.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously optimise workflows, identify bottlenecks, and implement automated solutions to enhance operational output and scalability.
  • Streamline Business Operations: Oversee day-to-day operations and implement systems that enhance process efficiency, improving workflow, scalability, and overall operational excellence as ArchiPro grows internationally.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to align financial and operational strategies that enhance business performance and support revenue generation.
Global Growth & Transformation:
  • Global Market Expansion: Drive international expansion strategies, particularly in markets such as the US, UK, and EU. Lead market entry initiatives and ensure compliance with local regulations while building partnerships to fuel growth.
  • Scale-Up Experience: Utilise your experience in scaling global companies, particularly in the marketplace and SaaS industries. Guide ArchiPro through transformation, ensuring a smooth and effective expansion.
  • Oversee Global Market Entry: Lead ArchiPro’s expansion into the US, UK, and EU, tailoring financial and operational strategies to meet the demands of new markets while ensuring seamless scalability.
Team Leadership & Development:
  • Build and Mentor High-Performing Teams: Develop the finance, operations, and broader leadership teams to foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, ensuring that all departments are equipped to scale efficiently.
  • Lead and Align Cross-Functional Teams: Provide leadership across finance, operations, marketing, sales, and product teams, ensuring all departments work collaboratively toward shared goals of global scale and operational excellence.
  • Talent Acquisition and Retention: Partner with the People & Culture team to ensure the successful recruitment and onboarding of top talent, ensuring the team is equipped to meet the growing needs of the business.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
  • KPIs and Metrics: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to financial health, operational efficiency, revenue growth, and client retention. Provide data-driven insights to guide leadership in decision-making.
  • Technology and Automation: Oversee the implementation of financial and operational systems (e.g., ERP, CRM) that enhance data accuracy, forecasting, and reporting capabilities across all departments.
  • Performance Optimisation: Analyze financial and operational data to identify key business drivers and implement improvements that enhance business performance.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum 10+ years of experience in senior finance and operations roles, including scaling businesses globally, ideally within Marketplaces, SaaS, or digital platform companies.
  • SaaS and/or Marketplace Experience: Strong understanding of the SaaS or marketplace business model and its unique challenges, including customer acquisition costs, lifetime value, and recurring revenue.
  • Financial Expertise: Expertise in capital management, fundraising, budgeting, and P&L oversight. Proven track record in managing large-scale financial operations in high-growth environments.
  • M&A Experience: Demonstrated success in leading mergers and acquisitions to drive business growth and expansion.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, foster collaboration, and drive results across both finance and operational units.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field required. MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.

  • Revenue Growth: Achieve targeted revenue growth and profitability while maintaining cost controls.
  • Capital Efficiency: Ensure efficient management of capital with a focus on cash flow optimisation and successful fundraising efforts.
  • Operational Efficiency: Measure the improvements in operational processes through KPIs such as lead time reductions, cost per transaction, and system implementation effectiveness.
  • Client Satisfaction & Retention: Collaborate with Customer Success to track client retention rates and service delivery performance to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Team Performance: Build a high-performing finance and operations team, with clear goals and performance metrics to drive excellence across both functions.
