Architects (Information & Communication Technology) About the Company ReturnToWorkSA is a leading insurance agency, responsible for providing work injury insurance and regulating the South Australian Return To Work scheme. As a result of an exciting, organisation-wide technology transformation, they are seeking a Lead Enterprise Architect that will play a large role in the development and implementation of their architecture strategy. About the Role Reporting to the Manager – Architecture and Data, the Lead Enterprise Architect will be instrumental in the success of this transformation, by leading the design and implementation of the future state enterprise architecture of the organisation. A high level summary of the key responsibilities:

  • Lead the technology architecture strategy design and delivery across multiple disciplines
  • Ensure the use of enterprise architecture methodologies and frameworks to derive and deliver value to the business
  • Develop and implement architectural governance and assurance systems and processes to ensure that technology direction and delivery process optimise digital investments
  • Develop and maintain domain technology strategy and roadmaps
  • Provide support to all aspects of the project life cycle from ideation through to delivery
About You The ideal candidate for this opportunity will be able to challenge and think laterally, particularly regarding best architecture practice and methodology. It will also be looked upon favourably to have considerable stakeholder management skills, both internally and externally with consulting partners. In addition to this, experience in the following areas will be essential:
  • Significant experience in leading the architecture function of large enterprise-wide transformation programs
  • Proven conceptual, business analysis and problem-solving skills including the ability to gather and interpret a fact-base of business, technical and financial information to inform planning, options and meaningful business insights
  • Certification on architecture frameworks (minimum TOGAF 9.x, familiarity with other frameworks desirable)
  • Working knowledge of data structures, design, architectural and integration patterns, algorithms, and engineering best practices
  • Proven experience developing EA plans and roadmaps, and technology blueprints
  • Practical application of architectural methodologies and frameworks, Salesforce knowledge a bonus
