The Demo & Training Product Specialist is responsible for performing the commissioning and training of Ross products and integrating these into the Broadcast systems at client locations globally. The position requires above average knowledge on Ross products and Solutions. This front-line individual is responsible for managing customer expectations, completing the required documentation, providing end user operational training and ensuring integrity of the training experience. This key individual works closely with our APAC Services and Sales Team to ensure delivery of Ross Superior Customer Experience. Who you report to: Director, Services – APAC, Oceania What the job is all about: Demonstrations Perform on-site, off-site, online/remote customer demonstrations and tradeshow events. Responsible for the operational and technical integrity of both the demo and training experience and offer effective solutions for areas of improvement in-house and online. Set up demo equipment, assist with set-up and prepare/test gear prior to demos. Provide insights on industry trends and customer feedback to the Sales and Marketing Product Management (MPM) teams. Maintain above average knowledge base and skill set in the functionality and demonstration of all system features for Ross Solutions. Develop demonstration techniques, methods and materials for use by other demo staff. Training Conduct on-site, off-site and online/remote customer training. Deliver internal training for Ross staff. Maintain training equipment and assist with setup, preparation, and testing gear prior to training sessions. Assist in the development of customer training methods, materials and techniques. Provide feedback to Product Managers regarding product operation, features, and roadmap. Participate in the review process for upcoming software feature lists. Champion customer needs, notably operational features, roll-out, training methods and future feature requirements. Who you are: Diploma or degree qualification with a minimum of 3 years of training experience required. Excellent communication and presentation skills. In-depth understanding of graphic design, production, customer needs, and applications. Relevant experience with production workflows for live events; Knowledge of use of Ross Video products and workflows is a plus. Knowledge of Virtual Solutions and Broadcast Camera Motion Control Systems will be a plus. Willingness to learn how to demonstrate and train on Ross products and solutions. Highly organized and detail-oriented. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing environments. Valid passport and willingness to travel internationally to customer sites and/or major tradeshows and events.
