Litigation Legal Executive Dublin 4 Firm Department: Litigation Team Experience Required: 8-10 years in Litigation/Commercial Litigation Overview We are seeking an experienced Legal Executive to join our Litigation Team, who has experience with or has specialised in commercial litigation roles. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in managing critical, complex legal disputes and delivering exceptional results for clients with the Lead Partners. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in litigation/commercial litigation, demonstrating expertise in case management, legal research, drafting, and client interaction within a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Case Management: Assist with the management of commercial litigation cases, including preparing case files, liaising with internal teams, and supporting senior lawyers and partners. Client Support: Serve as a key point of contact for clients, providing timely updates, addressing inquiries, and maintaining strong professional relationships. Legal Research and Analysis: Conduct detailed legal research on various aspects of commercial law, identifying relevant precedents, case laws, and legal insights to support case strategies. Document Drafting and Review: Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, affidavits, and briefs. Ensure that all documents are meticulously prepared, accurate, and aligned with the litigation strategy. Court Filings and Appearances: Coordinate and handle filings with courts or arbitration panels, ensuring compliance with procedural requirements and timelines. Attend court hearings, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations as needed. Discovery and Evidence Management: Oversee the discovery process, managing document requests, reviewing evidence, and coordinating with other parties to gather essential information. Team Collaboration: Work closely with partners, senior attorneys, paralegals, and other members of the litigation team to ensure cohesive case strategy and efficient workflow. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in law or a related field or Legal Executive certification or equivalent qualification desirable. Experience: 8-10 years' experience, ideally in a fast-paced or large-firm environment. Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. High proficiency in drafting legal documents with attention to detail. Ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively under tight deadlines. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Technical Skills: Familiarity with legal research platforms (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis) and litigation support software. Attributes A proactive approach to case management and client service. High ethical standards and a commitment to upholding confidentiality and integrity in all client matters. Strong business acumen to understand clients' commercial goals and align legal strategies accordingly.
