The center is dedicated to serving the community with compassion, integrity, and professionalism.Job Summary:We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse to join our dedicated healthcare team. The NICU Nurse will provide specialized nursing care to critically ill and premature infants, ensuring the highest quality of medical care and emotional support for patients and their families.Key Responsibilities:Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for neonates in the NICU.Monitor vital signs, laboratory results, and physical assessments to detect changes in the patient's condition.Administer medications, intravenous (IV) fluids, and treatments as prescribed, following established protocols.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and pharmacists, to provide comprehensive care.Educate and support families regarding their infant's condition, treatment plan, and care procedures.Document all aspects of patient care accurately in electronic health records in a timely manner.Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with NICU protocols and standards.Provide mentorship and guidance to nursing students and new staff members.Qualifications:Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) with a valid nursing license.Previous experience in neonatal nursing, preferably in a NICU setting.Current certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and healthcare teams.Ability to thrive in a high-stress environment while maintaining professionalism and compassion.Preferred Skills and Experience:Certification in Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing (RNC-NIC) is preferred.Experience with advanced neonatal monitoring equipment and therapies, including ventilators and intravenous (IV) therapies.Familiarity with family-centered care principles and practices in the NICU setting.Benefits:Tax-free salary and benefits package.Comprehensive medical and dental coverageOpportunities for professional development and continued educationRelocation assistance.Supportive work environment fostering collaboration and innovation.
