MEP - Construction Manager

Role Overview: Rail SpecificThe ideal candidate is in charge of the supervision of the installation, testing and commissioning of MEP and coordination with Railway systems.• Supervise installation, testing and commissioning of MEP in the underground Metro Rail Transit projects under construction, specifically in systems for ventilation, fire protection, power supply and distribution, signaling and automatic protection, operation and supervision of trains, and other low current systems, control and remote operation systems.• Candidate should have experience in issues related to tunnel ventilation, station ventilation, air conditioning, and MEP installations, building automation and control systems. They shall have experience in design review and evaluation of designs to check for compliance with specifications and employer's requirements.• The scope of the role means that they will be deployed in the engineering team to assist the MEP/HVAC Design Manager with the review of related designs and then join the construction team once the related site execution works commence.Skills Required:• Minimum 10 years of railway-related experience - Construction MEP manager with strong installer background.• Degree educated within a relevant engineering field (Mechanical or Electrical).About The Company:Qatar Project Management (QPM) is an independent subsidiary of Barwa Real Estate Development Company that provides expertise in project management, design management, construction management, and contract administration, together with other associated project management functions.
