Presales Consultant

A client of mine is looking for a Cloud & Data Presales Architect. This role is an immediate start, and will be an initial 6 month freelance position – with the opportunity to go permanent beyond that. You will need a minimum of 7 years’ experience in a similar role, working within a consulting business. The rate is open depending on experience, and the position will be fully on-site in one of these 4 cities; Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai or Bangalore. You will need to be a fluent English speaker, and willing to work hours that will crossover with Pacific time USA. Job role

• Design and Implement Cloud Architectures: Lead the design, deployment, and optimization of cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP) that are scalable, secure, and cost-efficient, ensuring alignment with customer business objectives.
• Provide Strategic Customer Advisory: Serve as a trusted advisor to C-level stakeholders, providing expert guidance on cloud transformation, data platforms, and AI solutions to drive business innovation and competitive advantage.
• Support Presales and Solutioning: Collaborate with the presales team to craft technical responses to RFPs, deliver solution workshops, and present tailored cloud and data architecture solutions that meet customer requirements.
• Drive Data Architecture and Engineering: Architect and implement advanced data platforms, including data lakes, cloud data warehouses, and data pipelines to support analytics, AI, and machine learning use cases.
• Lead and Mentor Technical Teams: Oversee the technical delivery of cloud, data, and AI projects, ensuring best practices are followed and fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and growth.
• Architect Hybrid and Multi-Cloud Solutions: Design and integrate hybrid cloud and multi-cloud environments, ensuring seamless operation between on-premise infrastructure and cloud services while maintaining compliance and operational efficiency.
