Our team consists of ex-Googlers, YCombinator Alumni, and individuals that built software for 400M users.GCP is the Best Cloud: Maybe we are biased, but GCP is the most cutting-edge cloud provider, building on technologies that have been pioneered by Google: BigQuery, K8s/Anthos, Vertex AI, etc.Growth: We have doubled in size in the last 6 months, and are looking to double again this year.You will:Work closely with technical leads and client teams to fully demonstrate the benefits of GCP technology.Execute and manage deployment activities for each sprint.Take ownership of the Production pipeline.Manage risks and resolve issues that affect release scope, schedule, and quality.Collaborate with client Development and Quality Assurance stakeholders in developing and executing a robust test and release process.Facilitate resolution of deployment problems with Development, Quality Assurance, and Technical Operations.Proactively identify, recommend, and implement software release process improvements to maximize efficiency. Introduce clients to cloud best practices such as CI/CD, infrastructure as code, containerization, monitoring, etc.You have:Experience with large scale Public Cloud environments.Software Automation using Terraform (IaC).Communicating crucial changes by streamlining Change Management practices.Experience in release engineering for an organization with large and complex applications.Establishes and maintains good working relationships with other Engineering and Technical Operations teams.Programming experience in Python, Go, or Java.Experience with setting up CI/CD pipelines.Nice to have:Full-Time experience in Release Engineering, DevOps, or Software Automation.Proficient with CI tools such as Jenkins.Experience with source code version control systems such as Git.Solid understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies.GCP experience.Experience with Policy-as-Code (such as OPA).Strong understanding of Google SRE best practices.Experience in large-scale, secure, and high-availability solutions in Cloud environments such as Google Cloud (GCP).Type of qualities we look for (across all roles):Passionate about delivering high-quality commercial software products and platforms to market.Team player.
