We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Claims Handler to join our team. This role involves managing pet insurance claims from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and delivering excellent service to customers and veterinary partners. You will work closely with your team and handle communications through phone and email. Primary Responsibilities Include: Review and process pet insurance claims from Policy Holders and Veterinary Practices efficiently and accurately. Deliver a high standard of customer service to both Customers and Veterinary Partners, guiding them through the claims process. Take full responsibility for the claims assigned to you, from registration through to the final decision. Engage with team members and management to ensure smooth claim resolution and process improvements. Handle communications with Customers and Veterinary Partners via phone and email, providing updates and answering queries. Skills and experience that will lead to success: Minimum 1 year of experience in a claims handling role with responsibility for managing and making decisions on claims. You are focused and thrive in a structured, process-oriented environment. You have a keen eye for detail and ensure accuracy in all aspects of your work. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain processes clearly to customers. Ability to prioritise tasks and manage workloads effectively in line with best practices. Excellent interpersonal abilities, with a focus on building positive relationships with customers and partners. Respect for customer and business confidentiality is essential. APA qualified, or working towards with a willingness to further develop knowledge. Knowledge of GDPR regulations and their impact on claims handling. Having pets yourself is an advantage.
