The Opportunity As a People Partner, you will join our HR team during a transformational time for Eagers Automotive. Reporting to the regional People & Safety Manager, you will partner with the General Managers / Dealer Principals and Department Managers within the business to deliver value-add HR support on all people matters. As a People Partner, you will:

  • Participate in the roll-out and embedding of a new HRIS - Success Factors
  • Engage and develop strong relationships with your business partners
  • Collaborate with the Regional and National People & Safety teams
  • Support employee engagement through targeted action plans and initiatives
  • Provide accurate and timely advice on all people matters including award interpretation queries
  • Support with and conduct workplace investigations and employment relations functions
  • Support performance management within your client group to foster a high-performing culture
  • Support your client group with training and development needs, ensuring compliance with legislative and industry requirements
  • Facilitate training and project implementation across your client group
  • Ensure compliance with relevant employment legislation
  • Partner with the injury management team on complex cases such as long-term illness
  • Proactively contribute to the development of our People & Safety activities to deliver a best-in-class HR service
You will have:
  • Consistent experience in Human Resources.
  • Experience interpreting and advising on Employment legislation and Modern Award entitlements
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage ER/IR matters
  • Experience with HRIS Success Factors will be highly regarded
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel to multiple sites
  • A 'can-do' attitude and the ability to meet the needs of our stakeholders
  • A mature and pragmatic approach
