The Opportunity As a People Partner, you will join our HR team during a transformational time for Eagers Automotive. Reporting to the regional People & Safety Manager, you will partner with the General Managers / Dealer Principals and Department Managers within the business to deliver value-add HR support on all people matters. As a People Partner, you will:
- Participate in the roll-out and embedding of a new HRIS - Success Factors
- Engage and develop strong relationships with your business partners
- Collaborate with the Regional and National People & Safety teams
- Support employee engagement through targeted action plans and initiatives
- Provide accurate and timely advice on all people matters including award interpretation queries
- Support with and conduct workplace investigations and employment relations functions
- Support performance management within your client group to foster a high-performing culture
- Support your client group with training and development needs, ensuring compliance with legislative and industry requirements
- Facilitate training and project implementation across your client group
- Ensure compliance with relevant employment legislation
- Partner with the injury management team on complex cases such as long-term illness
- Proactively contribute to the development of our People & Safety activities to deliver a best-in-class HR service
- Consistent experience in Human Resources.
- Experience interpreting and advising on Employment legislation and Modern Award entitlements
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage ER/IR matters
- Experience with HRIS Success Factors will be highly regarded
- Flexibility and willingness to travel to multiple sites
- A 'can-do' attitude and the ability to meet the needs of our stakeholders
- A mature and pragmatic approach
