About Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and scaling microservices, with a strong focus on Python-based APIs and AWS Lambda. This role involves working on our Cosmic Sphere microservices layer, which includes a variety of services such as Intelligent Delivery Service, Capture & Conversion, Cashflow CTRL, Simple Send, Delivery CTRL, Insights, and Webprint. Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Python-based APIs.
• Scandalize business logic into microservices and scale for reuse.
• Work on the Cosmic Sphere microservices layer, ensuring seamless integration and functionality across all services.
• Improve routing mechanisms and data integrity, handling data drops between microservices.
• Optimize the size and architecture of APIs by business function.
• Develop and maintain ingestion processes including file upload, SFTP, email, fax, and scan to image.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
• Provide analytics and reporting through the Insights service.
• Integrate security and authentication modules, including Single Sign-On (SSO) functionalities.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in API development and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in Python and AWS Lambda.
• Strong understanding of microservices design patterns and best practices.
• Experience with file upload, SFTP, email, fax, and scan to image processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to identify and implement industry best practices to improve existing processes; demonstrable achievement within a results-driven, highly ambiguous and dynamic environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
