Job Responsibilities

  1. Create LPO for products and services to support BU requirements.
  2. Agreeing prices and lead times to ensure the BUs meet delivery targets.
  3. Follow up with Suppliers on deliveries and coordinate with Inventory to ensure that all items are delivered on time and updated in the system without delays.
  4. Input real-time and accurate data entry in the ERP system, and maintain accurate records of supplier data and contact details in the system.
  5. Liaise with the finance department for suppliers to ensure that payments are updated and not to delay the deliveries of materials.
  6. Responsible for managing general procurement and petty cash purchases.
  7. Receiving, analyzing & negotiating proposals/offers to obtain commercial approvals from the management.
  8. Monitoring released POs, following up and coordinating on air/sea shipments/deliveries with suppliers, shipping agencies, courier companies, logistics, workshops, stores, operations, and sales teams ensuring proper documentation till completion of smooth/timely deliveries.
  9. Liaise with Accounts Payable Department, sending payment (Cash, CDC, PDC, T/T, L/C) requests to accounts to ensure accurate and timely payment of invoices, as necessary for the business with the suppliers.
  10. Sourcing discounts, and better payment terms and services from suppliers through proper and effective communication.
  11. Performing any additional work or tasks specified and instructed by the Supervisor/Manager.
EDUCATION Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent. Certificate in Supply Chain would be advantageous. KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, technical writing, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to exercise and use sound business judgment, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously and perform well under pressure.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to deliver presentations and communicate issues clearly to diverse stakeholders.
  • High level of self-motivation and superior organizational skills.
  • Experience in feasibility business and supply chain.
  • Familiarity with account procedures.
  • Preference for candidates with accounting qualifications.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with a similar role.
