We specialise in interior contracting and the manufacturing of bespoke joinery, metalworks and sophisticated shop fittings.As a result of expansion in the key growth market of KSA we are seeking to appoint experienced leaders to take our business forward. Consequently, the ideal candidate for the Logistics Officer position shall be flexible and adaptable. In return, you will be rewarded with great opportunities to work on challenging projects in this key growth market.Role Summary:Create and follow schedule for the material/product being shipped or being received and maintain an accurate data of the whole process, to ensure the smooth supply chain operation.Duties and responsibilities:Monitor the overall process of packing, loading and offloading of the processed goods.Ensure proper packing of the final products and stored properly during the transportation, to avoid damages.Oversee the warehouse operation and organize the packed material by effectively using the limited space.Ensure accurate labelling/tag the packed items by following the procedure to avoid wrong deliveries.Maintain the database and update the transaction on a daily basis.Report any damages during packing, stacking or during transportation.Prepare necessary shipment/transportation documents.Schedule and implement the shipment activities by prioritizing to ensure timely delivery.If necessary, negotiate with transportation companies for the best deals.Provide timely updates to the Head of Logistics about the dispatch status of the goods.Ensure the compliance and safety procedures are followed during the overall process.Coordinate with transportation companies, production team, and warehouse to facilitate smooth transactions.Anticipate and analyze problems in different areas in logistics and offer suggestions for feasible solutions.The ideal candidate for the Logistics Officer role has the following skills, personal qualities and experiences:Bachelor's in Material Management, Business Administration or equivalent courses with 3-5 years of GCC experience.Action-oriented.Able to prioritize tasks.Exhibits positivity, passion, integrity and responsibility.Knowledge of applicable government regulations and computer skills.We are looking forward to receiving your application for the position as 'Logistics Officer' in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in case you meet the above-mentioned criteria.Shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
