Role DescriptionThis is a full-time remote role for a Data Analyst/SQL DBA. The Data Analyst/SQL DBA will be responsible for database administration, replication, database design, troubleshooting, and maintaining databases. Apart from that, he will be involved on a daily basis in the analysis of data, generation of reports and ensuring the integrity of the data that comes into our databases and any other related tasks. The ideal candidate will also be required to learn a few new technologies that we use/plan to use for our data manipulation and presentation.
QualificationsMinimum 3 years of experience as DBA and Data Analyst based on SQL Server
Exceptional data querying/manipulation skills using T-SQL
Expertise in Database Administration, Replication, and Database Design
Strong Troubleshooting skills
Experience with maintaining high-performance databases
Experience working with large amounts of data
Understanding of database architecture and normalization rules
Experience with backup and recovery techniques for databases
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
Knowledge of cloud computing and scalable architectures is a plus
