Cashier

Kazamer Tax Consultant is looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Cashier to join our finance team in Dubai. This role is essential in maintaining accurate cash handling and customer settlements while supporting smooth financial operations. Key Responsibilities:

1. Cash Handling: Safeguard cash collected from business unit sales in line with corporate finance policies to prevent theft or loss.
2. Risk Reporting: Identify and report any observed risks in the outlet/location to ensure they are addressed promptly.
3. Customer Settlements: Process customer payments in the system based on supporting documents, maintaining an accurate reflection of the customer's account status.
4. Payment Processing: Accept payments by cash, cheque, and credit card in accordance with finance policies and issue receipts to customers for sales transactions.
5. Cash and Cheque Handover: Transfer cash and cheques to the finance office's cash collector for bank deposits.
6. Petty Cash Management: Manage petty cash funds, ensuring the cash on hand matches the petty cash balance and that all bills comply with group policies.
7. Account Receipts Generation: Record receipts in customer accounts based on documentation to support transactions adequately.
8. Special Assignments: Execute assignments as directed by senior accountants in support of accounting activities.
9. Daily Cash Reporting: Prepare and submit daily cash reports with full details for financial control and verification purposes.

Requirements:

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
2. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
3. Language Skills: Proficient in both written and spoken Arabic and English.
4. Experience: Prior experience in accounting or cash management is preferred.
